Safety:
More Than a Feature — A Philosophy

At Cirrus, safety is never an afterthought. The TRAC10 integrates multi-layered safety systems designed to handle the pace and pressure of modern flight training while helping students build the right habits from day one.

CAPS — Cirrus Airframe Parachute System®

CAPS® embodies our approach to safety. In the rare event of a critical in-flight emergency, every training crew and every student flying solo has access to the ultimate safeguard — with a single pull of the CAPS handle. Because at Cirrus, safety is always standard.

Electronic Stability and Protection (ESP)

ESP helps maintain safe, stable flight when the aircraft is being hand-flown. It monitors the aircraft's flight state, operates independently of the autopilot, and whenever pitch or roll deviations exceed recommended limits, applies a control force toward restoring stable flight. ESP can also recognize an impending underspeed or overspeed condition — such as stall speed or an excessively steep descent — and makes the corresponding control inputs.

Blue LEVEL Button

When the LEVEL mode button is activated in flight, the autopilot automatically engages and works to return the aircraft to straight-and-level flight.
